John Oliver to America: Be More like Australia
One man who seems to understand Australia is comedian John Oliver and he loves to tell the Americans all about it. Last time John Oliver was preaching how the Australians conquered gun control (whoopty f**king do, you may say) and this time he is lecturing on how ‘great’ (is this sarcastic or not) the Australian electoral process is.
John Oliver praises the Aussies for the sheer speed of the election (a four week process) and notes that even with speed, Australia is much like the United States in the way that there are just as many tools running for office.
