Top Ten Basketball Flops

Nobody likes a flopper; and these days it feels like we can’t watch a game of basketball without seeing one. Flop, Flop, Flop, Flop…. all game long. Now for most of you, when you see a flopper you want to beat them like you would a red-headed stepchild however there are a select few who think that flopping is cool. If you are going to choose to flop make sure you do it convincingly, unlike some of these folk.

Here are the top ten flops of all time on the basketball floor.

10: Reggie Evans- Los Angeles Clippers

Reggie Evans. What a clown.

9: Baron Davis- Golden Stte Warriors

What makes this one pathetic is that Baron goes looking for contact only to drop like a sack of potatoes when he thinks he found it. What really sets this flop apart from the rest is his composer after being caught, or the concussion… what ever he was going for he certainly hit it

8: Raja Bell- Utah Jazz & J.R. Smith- Denver Nuggets

You guys are in for a treat. What we have here is the rare double flop. Just watch how committed both guys are to it. Poetry in motion.

7: Drew Gordon- KK Partizan

This one put a smile to my face. I have not seen acting this bad since anything Channing Tatum is in.

6: Chris Bosh- Miami Heat

It feels like we could have our own countdown solely for the Miami Heat and even then, probably a countdown for each Heat game. You know why they aren’t called the ‘Miami Feet’? It’s because they are never on theirs. Here Chris Bosh demonstrates the effects of an ice age on a dinosaur.

5: Lebron James- Miami Heat

It is apparent LeBron falls in the same manner as his hairline, but which one is the right flop for the countdown? The one with Nazr Mohammed was bad. He should have got a second tech for that one. There was little to no contact on the Suns one and the Mavs one either. But the worst one if the apparent finger in the eye flop that Derrick Rose never inflicted. Pretending to be hurt is pretty low.

For the sake of humanity we will leave a Dwyane Wade flop out of the countdown.

4: Patty Mills- Melbourne Tigers

Those of who think this flop isn’t that bad needs to ensure they watch the clip all the way to the end. With the NBA in lock out, Mills headed back to Australia to play for the Melbourne Tigers, but like any ‘superstar’, what do you do when your man smokes you? You flop, that’s what.

3: Andrei Kirilenko- Utah Jazz

These sort of calls just cause you lose faith in humanity.

2: Chris Paul- Los Angeles Clippers

Listen Chris. The only person you fooled was DeMarcus Cousins but then again he probably though you had been sniped.

1: Mick Pennisi- Barako Bull

Aussie Mick Pennisi takes the cake with this monstrosity. It is apparent that Pennisi flops about as well as he plays defense.
